New To Freedom Church?

What To Expect

You might be wondering, what's it really like at Freedom Church? Simply stated, at Freedom, we're all about Jesus. You won't be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation. Our church is made up of imperfect people from all different kinds of backgrounds.

Want to know the best part? No matter what you've been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you'll find the love, grace, and forgiveness that comes from Jesus.

  • A little bit about us.

Here’s the deal, Freedom Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Freedom Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus and simply want as many people as possible to experience that same freedom.

  • Where we’re headed.

We explain our mission through 3 key components that we feel will help equip people to become disciples of Christ. Our heart is to help people work through life’s challenges by always seeking the truth, choosing to be humble, and doing the right thing. We believe this ongoing process facilitates transformation and continuous spiritual growth. A true disciple of Christ continually pursues growth in these areas. Psalm 45:4 – Ride forth victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness.

  • What this means for you.

What does this mean for you? Most importantly, you’re always welcome at Freedom Church. We’re saving a seat for you. Wherever you’re at in your faith journey, you’ll always be accepted as part of the Freedom family.

  • How long is a Freedom Church service?

In total, a Freedom Church service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the Freedom Church band leading the church in music. Feel free to engage in worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors or elders will come out to share a message from the Word of God. Get a feel for what our services are like by watching a live-recorded service.

  • What’s the culture like at Freedom Church?

Sundays at Freedom are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

  • What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Freedom Kids, we make this a priority. Kids (ages 3 through 11) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they explore creative, Gospel-centered teaching through stories, music, and interactive games.

Our Freedom Kids leadership & staff have all undergone training through Ministry Safe, a program that helps our staff to better protect and serve your children.

Our Beliefs

  • God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

    Scripture References:

    Genesis 1:1,26,27, Genesis 3:22, Psalms 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14

  • Mankind

We are all made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. We are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although mankind has tremendous potential for good, we are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called, “sin.” This attitude separates us from God.

    Scripture References:

    Genesis 1:27, Psalms 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6a, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2

  • Eternity

We are all created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. The place of eternal separation from God is called, “Hell.” Heaven is the place of eternal union and eternal life with God.

    Scripture References:

    John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15, Matthew 25:41, Revelation 21:27

  • Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  • Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to mankind. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our life by faith.

    Scripture References:

    Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8,9, John 14:6, John 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1

  • Eternal Security

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in the salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security.

    Scripture References:

    John 10:29, II Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 7:25, Hebrews 10:10-14, I Peter 1:3-5

  • The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and Son as God. He is present in the world to make mankind aware of our needs for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

  • The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to all mankind. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
